"E-Day" is the term Perimeter School usesfor parent-ledFridayEnrichment Days for first and second grade. As the parent of a first or second grade student at Perimeter, you will take turns with other classroom parents to teach your child's class most Fridays throughout the school year.You will either bethelead teacher or assistant for your given E-Day.
The goal ofE-Day is that it will be INTERACTIVE (hands-on), EXPLORATIONAL (learning new and exciting things), and INSPIRATIONAL (inspire them to want to know more).
In spending this time with your child and his classmates in the classroom, you will build precious memories with your child and his friends. As part of the covenant family at PCS, you will build relationships with the other families. E Day is a key part of the curriculum at PCS. It either supports and supplements what is being taught in class OR introduces a new topic to expose children to material not covered Monday – Thursday. You get to do all the fun stuff of 1
